We
are now known as The Tar Heel Variety Theater. We opened the
doors for the first time on May 25th, 2002. Since opening
here there have been many fine groups that have appeared and
many more to come.
There is plenty of seating, great acoustics, plenty of food
and drink along with a tasteful assortment of items in the
gift shop. Don't forget about the talent nights where just
about anyone can take the stage for their 15 minutes of fame.
We orginally were known as the Grand Ole Gospel. We had a
name change December 2009. We wanted to offer a variety of
great entertainment that everyone could enjoy. We have Gospel,
Bluegrass, Country & Classic Rock, Comedians & so
much more.
This is a great destination for families, church groups or
those looking for good, quality entertainment.
We are located just off highway 33 - 2 miles west of Chocowinity-
1/2 mile down Carrow Road.
